Rangers Tip Devils to Frustrate Brodeur

Jaromir Jagr and Brandon Dubinsky scored second-period goals against Martin Brodeur, spoiling the New Jersey goalie's second chance at 500 wins and lifting the New York Rangers to a 4-2 victory over the Devils on Wednesday night.

After the teams traded goals in the opening 2 minutes of the game, Dubinsky snapped a 1-1 tie _ off an assist from Jagr _ to give the Rangers a lead they didn't relinquish.

Jagr, who showed fine stickwork throughout, netted his fourth of the season and first on the power play to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead with 33.4 seconds left in the period.

It was nearly his second goal of the night, but a video review 6 minutes earlier …
