Clifton Park Jim Fitzgerald is spending most of his summer on the golf course. But it's not to help his handicap -- instead, it's to help the handicapped.

Fitzgerald, the director of fund raising and operations for Second Chance Sports and Fitness, spends the bulk of these days on the driving range at Eagle Crest running a hole-in-one contest in which the proceeds go toward buying court time and other equipment for the handicapped sports programs Second Chance offers.

Fitzgerald and Bill Yaiser, the owner of Second Chance, simply try to teach handicapped people to enjoy the sports that they probably never thought …
